Iona is a beautiful Aran weight (Australian 10ply/US Worsted equivalent) yarn in a heavenly 70% wool/15% silk/15% kid mohair mix. As the luxurious blend of fibres might suggest, the feel of this yarn is beautifully soft and silky, with the subtlest of sheens. It's so lush! Colinette has produced a glorious pattern book of Celtic themed designs to suit this yarn, and we're sure you'll love it as much as we do!
Iona has 141m per 100g, and quickly knits up to a tension of 19sts and 24 rows/10cm on 5.5mm needles.
